Families!!! A note that was supposed to go home today, did not make it into students' mailboxes. The note requested that students bring in an apple (red, green or yellow) to school by Thursday, September 29th. I am posting this here, so that parents have more than one days notice. If I notice that most students are not able to get their apples in this week, I will reschedule our apple activities for next. Thank you for your support in this matter!

All About Mrs. SpidleHello Nathaniel Morton families! My name is Mrs. Spidle and this is my third year teaching at Nathaniel Morton Elementary. Before I joined the fabulous team at NMES, I taught first grade at Federal Furnace for three years and kindergarten for six years at Sacred Heart. I love working with children and believe in cementing their love for learning at a young age. I have an undergraduate degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in reading education. As an early childhood educator, I love teaching all subjects, but my first love is reading! I believe in cultivating a love of reading in all of my students. I love to read, and am on a mission to have a community of motivated readers in my classroom! Archives
