I hope everyone has stayed safe and warm during these past two storms. We are hoping to get back to work and fun tomorrow! Because we have had two snow days the 100th day of school will not be celebrated until Wednesday, February 10th. In addition, please note that first grade will be participating in a Valentine Exchange on Friday, February 12th. As we are a peanut free room, please do not send in any candy with valentines. A note that was supposed to go home Friday with kiddos will be going home tomorrow regarding valentines. Thank you!

All About Mrs. SpidleHello Nathaniel Morton families! My name is Mrs. Spidle and this is my third year teaching at Nathaniel Morton Elementary. Before I joined the fabulous team at NMES, I taught first grade at Federal Furnace for three years and kindergarten for six years at Sacred Heart. I love working with children and believe in cementing their love for learning at a young age. I have an undergraduate degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in reading education. As an early childhood educator, I love teaching all subjects, but my first love is reading! I believe in cultivating a love of reading in all of my students. I love to read, and am on a mission to have a community of motivated readers in my classroom! Archives
