Last week, students had so much fun when our friends from Thorton Burgess came to visit the classroom! Students learned about mammals, animal tracks, what animals eat, and what their fur and skeletons look like. However, I think first graders would agree that the most exciting part was when we were able to see and pet a rabbit and a guinea pig!

All About Mrs. SpidleHello Nathaniel Morton families! My name is Mrs. Spidle and this is my third year teaching at Nathaniel Morton Elementary. Before I joined the fabulous team at NMES, I taught first grade at Federal Furnace for three years and kindergarten for six years at Sacred Heart. I love working with children and believe in cementing their love for learning at a young age. I have an undergraduate degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in reading education. As an early childhood educator, I love teaching all subjects, but my first love is reading! I believe in cultivating a love of reading in all of my students. I love to read, and am on a mission to have a community of motivated readers in my classroom! Archives
